For a long time I have wanted to engage in conversations through the expansiveness of the internet. The amazing thing about the internet is that you can exchange ideas with people you would never reach otherwise. The world becomes a smaller place and location does not prevent the exchange of ideas and fostering a better understand of the world.

I love the beautiful (and contemplative) photo that begins your Blog; the mist is perfect as a lead-in because most of our lives are like that; obscured slightly, then revealing the beauty that is right there before our very eyes!–if only we look! Thank you for your sensitive and thoughtful Blog; it gives me so much to think about.

When I was a child and we lived across from Manitoulin Island, that was the scene I saw every morning; which is what your photo reminded me of. It’s haunting and the memory touches my heart.
